Short version: we keep your email address to send the counties you ask for, and nothing else.
Who we are
LocalToad.com is run from Cork, Ireland. Contact: hello@localtoad.com.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The counties you tick, the area you type (if any) and your budget.
- The time you signed up and the page you signed up on.
- If you report a change on a listing: what you told us, and your email only if you give it.
No tracking scripts, advertising cookies or analytics beyond the web server's standard logs.
Why
To send one email per Thursday for each county you asked for, and to reply about a change you reported. That is the lawful basis: your consent when you sign up. We never sell or share your details for marketing.
Where it's kept
On our web host in the EU region, and with our email provider [Kit: add its name and data-processing terms once connected], which sends the emails.
How long
Until you unsubscribe. After that we delete your details within 30 days, except a record that you unsubscribed so we never email you again.
Your rights
Every email has an unsubscribe link and a link to change your counties. To see what we hold, correct it or have it deleted, email hello@localtoad.com and we'll do it within a month. You can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or, in Northern Ireland, the ICO (ico.org.uk).
